Join Us as CHANGEMAKERS to Support the Homeless Community!
Since 2012, we have been dedicated to assisting those experiencing homelessness. Our mission focuses on helping men and women regain stability through ministry, education, and employment resources. We are a Christian nonprofit organization based in Columbia, SC.
We are in search of volunteers who are genuinely passionate about making a significant difference.
- Instructors – We welcome volunteers with experience in teaching job skills, life skills, mental health, or education.
- Resume Writers – While experience in resume creation is beneficial, it is not mandatory if you are willing to assist in this area.
- Ministry Volunteers – If you enjoy praying or leading Bible studies, this role could be ideal for you as you contribute to our ministry efforts.
- General Helpers – If you simply want to lend a hand without a specific focus, this role is perfect! General helpers may assist with distributing items, serving food, organizing clothing, and more.
On Saturday, February 21st, from 1 PM to 2 PM, we will hold a Zoom meeting for those interested in becoming changemakers with Impact Change. A Zoom link will be shared for your convenience.

Volunteer Opportunity Announcement:
This advertisement is intended for individuals who may be interested in supporting the homeless through our organization. We invite you to join our volunteer interest meeting, which will be held via Zoom. Following the meeting, if you wish to begin volunteering with Impact Change, you will receive a volunteer form and injury waiver via email to complete.
Volunteer Activities:
- We organize volunteer events and activities once a month on Saturdays.
- We aim to enhance our impact by hosting more events, which requires the assistance of additional volunteers.
About Our Organization:
We are a small but growing 501(c)(3) organization. While we currently hold events at local homeless shelters and organizations in Columbia, SC, we are transitioning to a new site where all our events will be centralized.
Meeting Details:
- Most volunteer meetings are conducted virtually, with occasional in-person meetings at a local church in Columbia, SC, which is our sponsor.
- Meetings may also take place at a library.
After completing the interest meeting, the volunteer form, and the injury waiver, volunteers can sign up for events based on their availability.

Impact Change is a Christian organization, and various aspects of its operations may include prayer, biblical references, and scriptural content. As a Christian entity, Impact Change holds the legal right to select volunteers at its discretion, ensuring they respect and adhere to the principles of the Christian faith without facing legal repercussions in the United States.
