Meals on Wheels: Volunteer Packer Needed in Federal Way!

Join our Volunteer team to help Meals on Wheels in King County fight hunger! As a Meals on Wheels Volunteer, you will belong to a team committed to helping homebound seniors maintain their health and independence with nutritious food, personal contact, and caring service.

Meal Packer: We are looking for a volunteer to pack meal orders each week. This role is a weekly commitment on Wednesday mornings from 11:30am to 1:30pm. Volunteer meal packers prepare orders of nutritious frozen entrees for delivery. Attention to detail protects clients with dietary restrictions and promotes autonomy in their meal choices.

Training for this position is provided. We are looking for volunteers who are interested in volunteering longer term.

Requirements: Complete the Meals on Wheels Volunteer Application, consent to a Washington State Patrol background check, the ability to lift 15 pounds, and be age 18 or more.
