Grief Support Group Leader for Adults

Help someone find hope. Become a Grief Group Leader. OUR HOUSE Grief Support Center is recruiting for volunteer support group leaders. OUR HOUSE is a nonprofit organization providing grief support services, education, resources, and hope throughout the greater Los Angeles area. We provide support groups for children and adults who have experienced the death of someone close.

Our volunteers are extraordinary people who make a big difference in the lives of grieving children and adults. They co-lead groups in the evenings online or in our West Los Angeles & Woodland Hills locations or during the day for groups for retired persons. We ask for a one year commitment. Volunteers receive four days of comprehensive training and they receive group supervision once every other week. The average time commitment is about 10-15 hours per month. Do you speak Spanish? We are also looking for bilingual volunteers. We have urgent need for volunteers for all programs, and your application will be processed promptly. We normally train four times a year.
