Role Overview
The Program Operations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of Black Girl Joy’s programs and events. This role helps ensure that ideas move from planning to execution in a structured, organized, and sustainable way.
This is an execution-focused role ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and enjoys bringing moving pieces together.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage the program and event calendar
- Coordinate timelines and planning across multiple programs and events
- Ensure events move smoothly from planning to execution
- Support communication between program leads and event support roles
- Help identify gaps or needs in coordination and proactively address them
- Provide structure and organization to support consistent program delivery
What We’re Looking For
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple moving pieces and timelines
- Clear and consistent communication
- Ability to follow through and support execution
- Comfort working in a collaborative, team-based environment
- Experience with project coordination, operations, or event support is helpful but not required
Time Commitment
Estimated 3 to 5 hours per week
Time may increase slightly during active event or program periods
