Development Manager- Professional Volunteer

Job Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated, ambitious Development Manager to stand as a Professional Volunteer to drive force behind our program's operations, revenue generation, and translate our mission into actionable, sustainable objectives. You will be responsible for managing and executing the full lifecycle of our programs and their fundraising activities, from grants and individual giving to corporate sponsorships. This role requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, relationship building, and strong project management to fuel our ambitious growth plan

Company Overview:

The SpreadYourHeart Organization is a grassroots nonprofit organization that provides outreach services that rehabilitate the homeless, recover impaired environments, and empower entrepreneurs around the world. We operate in states around the U.S but provide direct support to communities in San Bernardino County, CA and Hillsborough County, FL.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize CRM software to manage volunteers, clients, and stakeholder relationships and report on program outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess community needs and align volunteer efforts with organizational goals.
• Implement the annual fundraising plan, focusing on achieving revenue goals from various sources.
• Manage the lifecycle of donors, from identification and cultivation to solicitation and stewardship. This includes writing grant proposals, coordinating direct mail campaigns, and managing donor databases.
• Plan and execute fundraising events, galas, or annual appeals.
• Track fundraising revenue against projections and managing the departmental budget.
• Create compelling materials (cases for support, annual reports) to communicate the organization's impact to donors.

Qualifications:

• Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to inspire diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to build authentic, professional relationships with diverse stakeholders, including high-net-worth individuals and corporate executives.
• Familiarity with the corporate and philanthropic landscape of the San Bernardino County/High Desert region is highly desirable.
