Cybersecurity & Penetration Testing Volunteer

Focus:

Basic security hygiene, vulnerability awareness, and controlled security testing for our internal platforms and tools.

Responsibilities:

• Learn and assist in basic vulnerability assessment of web platforms
• Support simple penetration testing exercises in a controlled environment
• Identify common security gaps (misconfigurations, weak credentials, exposed services)
• Assist in security documentation and best practices guidelines
• Support audits of internal systems like websites, dashboards, and admin panels
• Help prepare basic risk reports with findings and recommendations
• Learn and apply secure access and data protection practices
• Maintain clear documentation of tests, results, and remediation suggestions
