This volunteer role involves calling clients to schedule appointments, confirm appointments, and complete intake forms. The individual will be trained concerning their specific tasks and they will have to do the HIPPA and other IT training required for those using county issued equipment. The person would need to come to the office to assist for 4 hours once or twice a week.
The program need is for 1-2 people giving 4 hours 1-2 times per week in preparation and throughout open enrollment (Sept through December). Outside this timeframe the need would be about 3 hours 1-2 times a week total.
The ideal person will need to be amenable to using the computer and making phone calls. Having patience with beneficiaries as they search for information. Also, possess a sense of thoroughness and organizational skills.
