Comfort Item Volunteers - Sewing, Crafting, Knitting (Dauphin, Perry, and Cumberland Counties)

Amedisys Hospice of Harrisburg is proud to offer hand-crafted items to our patients and families as an extra "special touch" to show that we care. Our volunteers construct non-sew blankets for veterans, wheelchair blankets, catheter bag covers, memory pillows, ornaments made out of the donated material provided, and etc.... Amedisys can provide needed items, such as : thread, patterns, pillow stuffing ( or the volunteer may prefer to donate those items) and we can deliver the supplies directly to the volunteer's home if needed. The cost? Time and creativity!
