Fundraising Gala Lead

The Fundraising Gala Lead plays a key role in planning, coordinating, and executing our largest annual fundraising event. This volunteer position is ideal for someone who is organized, creative, and passionate about helping young people experiencing homelessness. Your leadership helps ensure a successful gala that raises critical funds and awareness for our mission.

• lead the overall planning and timeline for the annual fundraising gala.
• coordinate event team, ensuring tasks are clearly assigned and supported
• manage volunteers with clear communication and positive example.
• help secure sponsors, auction items and community partnerships.
• work closely with fundraising team to align event goals with organizational priorities.
• manage communication with vendors, venue staff and partners as needed.
• assist with event them, decor vision, program and attendee experience
• support marketing and promotional efforts to drive attendance.
• track progress and report updates to Leadership
• Oversee event day setup, execution, and wrap-up.

As gala lead, you directly contribute to the financial strength of StandUp for Kids Tucson. Your efforts help ensure youth have access to mentoring, life skills, job readiness programs, meals and supportive caring adults they can trust.
