Hospice Patients Need You

Brighton Hospice seeks compassionate volunteers to provide companionship to our hospice patients. You can bring comfort and peace to those facing the end of their lives by playing games together, watching TV or movies, listening to music, conversing, or just listening as they share their life stories.

You receive special comprehensive hospice education and training after you pass a background check and TB test.

Other examples of volunteer activities (what would you add):

• Reiki / aromatherapy
• Music to individual patients or a group
• Your certified animal companion to visit patients
• Provide administrative assistance in the office
• Help the Bereavement Coordinator coordinate funerals and memorials
• Legacy projects: label photos, help write memoirs, compile recipe booklets
• Art!
