🌈 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED | SC Black Pride 2026 🌈

We’re calling on our community to show up, step in, and help us build something powerful.

South Carolina Black Pride is looking for dedicated, passionate volunteers to support our upcoming events—including Pride in the Park and our 20th Anniversary Celebration Week.

✨ Our Goal: 50 Volunteers by May 17, 2026

🎯 Volunteer Responsibilities Include:

• Greeting and assisting attendees (Guest Experience Team)

• Managing check-in and registration areas

• Supporting the Kid Zone with activities and supervision

• Assisting with event setup and breakdown

• Providing stage/program support during performances

• Helping direct guests and troubleshoot throughout the event

• Supporting social media, outreach, and behind-the-scenes operations

✅ Volunteer Qualifications:

• Must be 18+ (or 16+ with parent/guardian consent)

• Friendly, respectful, and community-oriented

• Reliable and able to commit to assigned shifts

• Willing to work as part of a team

• Able to follow instructions and represent SC Black Pride professionally

• A passion for supporting and uplifting the Black LGBTQ+ community 💛
