🎡 Bright lights, midway rides, and food for every craving—that’s just the beginning at the Florida State Fairgrounds!

Volunteers are the heart of the Fair, helping before, during, and after the big event (February 4–15, 2027), with additional opportunities all year long. It’s a lively, friendly crew, and we even host occasional social outings to stay connected.

Each year, hundreds of volunteers keep the Fair running smoothly, contributing thousands of hours across a wide range of activities. In return, volunteers earn perks like free Fair admission, bonus tickets for friends and family, food discounts, collectible Fair pins, and an invitation to our annual appreciation banquet—all based on hours served.

To get started, fill out a volunteer application and attend a Volunteer Orientation—you’ll even receive an exclusive Volunteer T-shirt to wear on shift!
