Position Title: Card and Board Game Enthusiast Volunteer

Location: Serving Communities Central Ohio

Position Summary:

Are you a passionate card game or board game player looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others? Our hospice program is seeking dedicated volunteers who share a love of games and are eager to bring joy, companionship, and comfort to our patients and their families during their end-of-life journey. As a game enthusiast Hospice Volunteer, you will have the unique opportunity to connect with patients who have a shared interest in games. Your presence and engagement will contribute to enhancing their quality of life, providing a sense of companionship, and offering respite to their families.

Requirements:

• Genuine interest in card games, board games, and a willingness to share this passion with hospice patients.
• Compassionate, empathetic, and respectful demeanor.
• Good communication skills and the ability to actively listen.
• Reliable and punctual with a commitment to volunteering regularly.
• Completion of hospice volunteer training (provided by our program).
