Mayo Clinic Surgery Waiting Sub - Flexible

Volunteers provide family and friends with information about patients in holding, surgery and recovery. They also connect family with the surgeon post-operatively. It is important for the volunteer to be sympathetic, discreet, and sensitive to the needs of waiting families. Excellent computer, telephone, and interpersonal skills are required along with the ability to walk or stand for 4 hours.
