The Mission
Powered By Love is a people-powered nonprofit committed to uplifting unhoused and marginalized communities by providing essential resources with dignity and compassion.
We are looking for a Clinical & Wellness Chair to lead the "The 831 Experience" health and triage design. This 48-hour restorative journey moves 75 unhoused neighbors through eight touchpoints of care, concluding in a formal family-style Gala dinner. You will coordinate mobile health partners and ensure HIPAA compliance to provide a safe, organized, and dignified environment for our Phoenix event.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner Coordination: Act as the primary liaison for Circle the City and mobile health partners.
- Compliance: Ensure all onsite wellness activities are HIPAA-compliant and safe.
- Triage Design: Design the patient triage flow for the 48-hour event.
- Guest Advocacy: Ensure healthcare services are delivered with dignity and compassion.
- Safety Oversight: Lead the wellness team in responding to clinical needs during the event.
What We’re Looking For
- Professional Background: Experience in healthcare administration, nursing, or public health.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and clinical logistics.
- Commitment: Ability to complete 220 hours of work leading up to and during the event.
- Local Presence: Must be local to Phoenix, Arizona for onsite requirements.
Commitment & Compensation
- This is a volunteer chair position requiring a total of 220 hours. A $5,000 stipend is provided (subject to funding availability) to support The 831 Experience.
