Resource Mobilization Officer

Her Dreams Initiative (HDI) is seeking a passionate and strategic Resource Mobilization Officer to lead efforts in mobilizing resources, building partnerships and expanding resource networks to sustain and scale our programs focused on SRHR, gender equality and climate justice.

Responsibilities;

1. Develop and implement resource mobilization strategies aligned with HDI’s mission and goals.
2. Identify and engage potential donors, partners and funding opportunities (local and international).
3. Write compelling grant proposals, concept notes and reports.
4. Support fundraising campaigns, events and outreach activities.
5. Collaborate with program and communications teams to align fundraising with ongoing initiatives.

Qualifications

1. At least 2 years of experience in fundraising, grant writing, or donor relations, preferably in the NGO sector.
2. Strong research, writing and communication skills.
3. Proven ability to develop winning proposals and build donor relationships.
4. Familiarity with local and international donor landscapes is an advantage.
5. Flexible working hours with some virtual collaboration.
