Be a food rescue hero by rescuing food that would otherwise be thrown out-- help get it to the people and organizations that can use it!
- Download Food Rescue App and complete short online trainings before first rescue.
- Claim rescues through App according to your schedule and location. Weekly rescues or one-time rescues are available.
- Follow step-by-step instructions in Food Rescue App to pick-up food donations and transport to nearby nonprofits.
- Communicate with Food Rescue Program staff with any issues during rescues or if you have to cancel
Most food will need to be rescued weekdays or weekends, mornings to early afternoons!
Must have a smartphone and a vehicle.
A great way to help get food to those who need it!
