Pet Therapy Volunteers Needed

Imagine the way you feel after you've had a long day and you come home to your furry friend. You could bring that same feeling to someone else in need!

Elara Caring, a leading Midwest Hospice Organization, is looking for therapy teams or individuals willing to share their pet with our hospice patients. Patients reside in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, as well as their own homes. As a pet therapy volunteer, you have the opportunity to brighten a patient’s day while bringing them emotional and physical benefits.

All dogs must be trained through Therapy Dogs International or Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dog and must be current on all shots. Proof of certification required.
