Garden volunteering at Leesburg flower farm

Legacy Farms is a specialty-cut flower farm in Leesburg that provides vocational training and apprenticeships to neurodivergent young adults.

Volunteers work alongside our staff on farm and flower production tasks — planting flower starts, pulling weeds, laying out weed block, pinning down garden staples, or mulching rows. Legacy Farms staff are on-site to welcome you, introduce our program, provide instructions, and oversee the activities.

Dress for gardening, including sunscreen, bug repellent, a hat, sunglasses, and gardening gloves if you have some (we also have plenty on hand). Bring plenty of water — restrooms are available.

Shifts: Mondays, Wednesdays, or Fridays, 9:00–11:00 AM

Individual Volunteers

We ask for two hours per week and a six-week commitment.

Group Volunteers

We're grateful to community and business groups who want to support Legacy Farms. Groups of three or more are scheduled individually, with at least one week's notice, and don't need to commit to six weeks — one-time visits are welcome.
