🏀 ABOUT THE EVENT

The National Granny Basketball Tournament is a one-of-a-kind sporting event featuring women age 50 and over competing in 1920s-style basketball — think no running, no jumping, and a whole lot of heart. Teams from across the country will descend on Ankeny for three days of fierce (and fun!) competition, and all fundraising efforts benefit ICADV's mission to end domestic violence in Iowa.

🙌 WHAT VOLUNTEERS DO

Volunteers play a vital role in making this event run smoothly. Duties may include:

• Gate admission and ticketing
• Event setup and breakdown
• Assisting with silent auctions or fun activities
• Cheering on players and welcoming spectators
• General event support

No prior experience needed — just a positive attitude and a willingness to serve!
