Gentiva Hospice is excited to welcome compassionate individuals who are looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients and their families. We are currently seeking dedicated volunteers for the following rewarding opportunities:

• Pet Therapy – Share the healing power of animals by providing comfort, companionship, and emotional support to patients.
• Hospice Companion: Companionship by listening to patients’ stories and engaging in their interests. Providing support in a vulnerable time in life
• Massage Therapy – Help enhance relaxation and well-being through soothing, gentle touch.
• Haircare Specialists – Assist patients in feeling refreshed and cared for by offering hairstyling and grooming services.
• Music Healing Volunteers – Use the transformative power of music to bring peace, joy, and emotional relief to those in hospice care.
• Flexible Hours! Your time matter!

How Do I Become a Volunteer with Gentiva Hospice?

At Gentiva Hospice, our volunteers play a vital role in bringing comfort, compassion, and companionship to patients and their loved ones during the end-of-life journey. If you feel called to make a meaningful difference, we invite you to join our team as a hospice volunteer.

Getting started is simple. Your first step is to schedule a volunteer interview with our team. This conversation will help you learn more about the role and allow us to understand how your unique gifts can best support our patients.

Gentiva Hospice has a dedicated Volunteer Coordinator who will guide you through every step of the onboarding process—from training to placement—and provide ongoing support throughout your volunteer journey.
