Landscaping Need

About Us:

PCHAS runs a nonprofit housing community that provides safe and supportive homes for single-parent families. We believe every parent and child deserves a welcoming space to thrive.

We are seeking volunteers to help with weekly landscaping and outdoor care at our facility. A well-kept environment not only enhances the appearance of our property but also fosters dignity, pride, and peace of mind for our residents.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

• Mow lawns and trim edges
• Pull weeds and maintain flower beds
• Trim shrubs and small trees
• Sweep sidewalks and outdoor common areas
• Assist with seasonal clean-up and planting

Commitment:

• Once per week (flexible scheduling available)
• 1–2 hours per week (individuals or groups welcome)

Qualifications:

• Positive attitude and willingness to serve
• Basic yardwork knowledge helpful, but not required
• Ability to bring or use basic lawn tools (facility has limited equipment available)
• Great opportunity for individuals, families, student groups, or service clubs
