Volunteer Marketing Lead- 90 day pilot

We are currently building our foundational leadership team and seeking a Marketing Lead to shape and execute our visibility strategy.

Role Overview

This is a leadership-level volunteer role with ownership over marketing strategy and execution. The Marketing Lead will work collaboratively with Operations, Growth, and Fundraising leads while maintaining defined decision-making authority within scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a 90-day marketing strategy aligned with annual organizational goals
• Build and manage a content calendar
• Clarify messaging and brand positioning
• Support promotion of events and partnerships
• Establish baseline engagement metrics and reporting

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in marketing, communications, or digital strategy
• Strong writing and brand positioning skills
• Comfortable building systems in early-stage nonprofits
• Self-directed and collaborative

• Messaging framework defined
