Champion the Mission: Lead Strategic Corporate Partnerships for VPMMA

Are you a strategic networker passionate about driving systemic change? The Veteran Project Manager Mentor Alliance (VPMMA) is seeking a Corporate Relationship Manager to serve as a high-impact architect of our growth. In this role, you will bridge the gap between corporate social responsibility (CSR) and the military community, securing the "High-Impact" resources necessary to scale our life-changing mentorship programs.

As a pro bono professional, you will act as a primary advocate for our Alliance Heroes, ensuring that major partners understand the transformative value of investing in veteran leadership.

    Your Strategic Impact

You will dedicate 3–5 hours per week to high-leverage activities that fuel our mission:

    • Strategic Prospecting: Identify and vet high-potential corporate leads and foundations whose missions align with veteran workforce development.
    • Partnership Development: Craft compelling "Case for Support" proposals that illustrate the tangible impact of major contributions on our training initiatives.
    • High-Touch Stewardship: Nurture relationships with major donors by providing personalized impact reports and facilitating connections with our Board of Directors.
    • Growth Alignment: Collaborate directly with the President and Director of Development to ensure outreach strategies support our long-term vision of becoming the most sought-after partner for veteran career journeys.

    Qualifications for Success

We are looking for a professional who thrives on building meaningful, mission-driven connections:

    • Executive Presence: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present our mission to C-suite stakeholders.
    • Strategic Acumen: The ability to identify "win-win" scenarios where a corporation’s goals meet the needs of the veteran community.
    • CRM Proficiency: Experience managing complex donor or sales pipelines (proficiency in tools like Flowlu is a plus).
    • Mission Dedication: A deep understanding of how project management serves as a critical life skill for reintegration.

    The VPMMA Volunteer Advantage

Joining our Growth & Development Committee offers unique rewards for your professional journey:

    • Board-Level Exposure: Work closely with organization leadership to shape the future of a 100% volunteer-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
    • Professional Recognition: Eligibility for Volunteer of the Year awards and personalized letters of recommendation for your significant contributions.
    • Career Advancement: Hone your business development and CSR leadership skills while gaining access to Google Certificates on Coursera.
    • Lasting Legacy: Directly contribute to a legacy of leadership and excellence that transforms the lives of those who served our country.

    Position Details

    • Type: Volunteer / 100% Remote.
    • Time Commitment: Approximately 3–5 hours per week.
    • Reporting Structure: Direct report to the Director of Development or President.
    • Compliance: All volunteers are expected to uphold the VPMMA Code of Conduct and strict confidentiality regarding donor data.

Are you ready to help us build a stronger alliance? Your expertise is the key to unlocking new horizons of success for our veterans.
