Descrição
Volunteers can serve in multiple roles and have described their work as gratifying and meaningful. In addition to providing compassion, they can spend time with the patient, reading, listening to music, and sharing life stories. Whatever way we can serve our patients is beneficial and our volunteers can choose the days and times that work best with their personal schedule. We provide an orientation to prepare our volunteers, instill confidence, and to help them feel comfortable in carrying out their responsibilities.
