ESL Volunteer Opportunity

Support the Ethnic Chinese Community: Volunteer as an English as a Second Language (ESL) Tutor

Would you like to help make a positive impact in the lives of ethnic Chinese individuals as they adapt and thrive in our community? We are seeking compassionate volunteers to assist adults of Chinese heritage in developing their English language skills. As an ESL tutor, you’ll guide learners in speaking, listening, reading, and writing English, all within a friendly and supportive environment.

• • Commitment: A minimum of three months, with flexible scheduling and at least one hour per week
  • Location: Both in-person (Seattle, Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond) and virtual opportunities available
  • Training: No prior teaching experience necessary
  • Qualifications: Patience, enthusiasm, cultural awareness, and a genuine desire to help others succeed
