About Nutrition Clarity Foundation

Nutrition Clarity Foundation is a community-based nonprofit providing free nutrition literacy resources and community education. We help individuals and families better understand food labels, ingredients, and everyday grocery decisions in clear, accessible ways.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Volunteer Community Engagement & Outreach Coordinator to help expand awareness of Nutrition Clarity Foundation’s educational resources and community programs.

This role focuses on connecting with community organizations, supporting outreach efforts, and helping more people discover our free nutrition education resources.

It is ideal for someone interested in community engagement, nonprofit outreach, public health, or community education.

Responsibilities

• Help identify community organizations and groups that may benefit from our resources
• Assist with outreach to local organizations, community groups, and potential partners
• Support promotion of workshops, educational resources, and community events
• Help share information about our free nutrition education resources with the community
• Assist with maintaining simple lists of outreach contacts and community connections

This role focuses on community outreach and awareness, not providing nutrition advice.

Qualifications – Must Have

• Strong communication and outreach skills
• Interest in community health, public health, or nonprofit work
• Organized and reliable
• Comfortable helping initiate conversations with community organizations

Preferred

• Experience in community outreach, nonprofit engagement, or public health initiatives
• Interest in nutrition education, food systems, or health literacy
• Familiarity with community organizations or grassroots initiatives

Time Commitment

Approximately 4–8 hours per month, flexible depending on outreach needs.
