Volunteer Grant Research and Writing Lead — Music Education Nonprofit

Our nonprofit is a San Diego 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting group music education, including music theory, choir, orchestra, and scholarships. We are looking for an experienced volunteer to help us build a practical grant funding plan.

During an initial three-month commitment, you would:

• Research grants that fit our music education programs and eligibility.
• Create a short list of promising funders and application deadlines.
• Help organize the information and documents needed for applications.
• Work with us to draft one suitable grant application.

We can provide information about our nonprofit, programs, and budget. You would work directly with Katherine Dvoskin, who will review and approve all applications before submission.

Experience researching or writing nonprofit grants is preferred. We expect approximately 2–3 hours per week, with a flexible schedule. This volunteer opportunity can be done remotely.
