Hospice Welcome / Bereavement Call Volunteers

Volunteers in this area will be calling patients who were recently admitted into Medcare Hospice to welcome them into the program and remind them of the services they are eligible for. Volunteers are expected to express compassion and relay any patient/family concerns to the appropriate staff.

Volunteers in this area will also call the bereaved families to express condolences and remind them of the bereavement services we have. If families express interest, volunteer is to relay this information to the appropriate staff.
