About WhiteKnight
WhiteKnight is a technology-assisted paralegal supported, legal initiative focused on a gap in access to justice.
We support individuals and businesses who possess credible evidence of misconduct but face overwhelming monetary barriers to obtaining legal representation after speaking up.
The Cases We Do NOT Take
We are not seeking attorneys for:
- General small-business disputes
- Commercial collections
- Contract enforcement actions
- Divorce or family law matters
- Political grievances
- Employment disputes lacking evidence
- Personality conflicts between coworkers
- Social media disagreements
- Matters based solely on speculation or belief
- Cases where no objective evidence exists
We are particularly careful to avoid becoming a forum for personal vendettas.
Instead We Need Attorneys for
- Fraud exposure followed by retaliation
- Whistleblower retaliation
- Coordinated efforts to discredit individuals who reported legitimate concerns
A typical case involves:
- A person reports misconduct.
- Evidence exists.
- The report is ignored or denied.
- The reporting individual becomes the target.
- Professional, economic, or reputational harm follows.
Evidence comes first.
Our Model
WhiteKnight uses technology to reduce the burden placed on volunteer counsel.
Before a case reaches an attorney, we assist with:
- Evidence organization
- Chronology development
- Document indexing
- Searchable records
- Fact summaries
- Preliminary issue analysis
Attorneys receive organized case materials rather than thousands of pages of unstructured documents along with paralegal and motion drafting.
The goal is to focus on legal strategy while minimizing burden.
What We Need
We are seeking litigators willing to:
- Review evidence packages
- Provide strategic guidance
- Accept select pro bono or limited-scope engagements
- Serve as attorney of record
Attorneys retain complete professional independence and discretion regarding all legal decisions.
Who This Role Is For
This opportunity is likely a fit if you have ever felt frustrated watching a well-documented case go nowhere because the person telling the truth lacked resources.
If you believe institutions should not be able to silence critics through retaliation, intimidation, or reputation destruction, your experience can make a meaningful difference.
Many lawyers spend their careers resolving disputes.
A smaller number help ensure that wrongdoing cannot be hidden simply by overwhelming the people who expose it.
We are looking for the latter.
Special need in NY, TX, and IL
