Purpose:
The Thrift Store Model Volunteer helps Idaho Youth Ranch showcase the heart of our thrift stores by acting as staff in staged photo and video shoots. These images and videos will be used in promotional campaigns, recruitment, and community outreach. By portraying team members in action—receiving donations, assisting customers, merchandising displays—you will help us tell the story of how thrift fuels hope, healing, and resilience for Idaho’s youth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in scheduled photo and video shoots at Idaho Youth Ranch thrift stores.
- Act as store staff in promotional scenes, including:
- Greeting and assisting customers.
- Processing or sorting donations.
- Organizing racks and displays.
- Ringing up purchases at the register (staged).
- Follow direction from the Marketing Team and Store Manager during shoots.
- Wear provided wardrobe that reflects our brand.
- Sign media release for use of photos/videos in marketing and recruitment materials.
Qualifications:
- Passionate about Idaho Youth Ranch’s mission.
- Comfortable being photographed and filmed in staged work settings.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Friendly demeanor and ability to portray positive customer service interactions.
- Willingness to follow brand guidelines and direction from staff.
- No acting or modeling experience required—just enthusiasm and a positive attitude!
