Administrative & Event Support

ECN Purpose invites individuals interested in assisting with administrative tasks at its Aliso Viejo office/remotely and/or volunteering at mobile eye care events held throughout Orange County. Responsibilities may include organizing supplies and equipment, as well as handling documents such as printing, assembling, data entry and scanning. Office hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Remote needs are very flexible as to day/time.

Mobile eye care events are generally 3-4 hours in duration and staffed by optometrists, optometric student technicians, and ECN Purpose personnel. Events vary in terms of the day of the week and time. Responsibilities at mobile eye care events may include warmly greeting and assisting attendees with general needs, ensuring attendees receive educational pamphlets and consumer notices, and helping with the setup and breakdown of tables and chairs. Knowledge of the eye care profession or terminology is not required. You have the flexibility to volunteer with ECN Purpose whenever your schedule allows - quarterly, semiannually, or annually. ECN Purpose maintains a casual dress code and a friendly work environment. Be a part of something bigger - help bring clear sight and brighter futures to those in need.
