Minds Matter Seattle is excited to announce openings on our Board of Directors. We seek passionate, dedicated individuals committed to our mission of transforming the lives of dedicated and driven students from low-income backgrounds by broadening their dreams and preparing them for college success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and governance to fulfill Minds Matter Seattle's mission and vision.
• Engage in fundraising efforts to support the financial sustainability and growth of the organization.
• Leverage your professional network to build partnerships and increase community awareness.
• Contribute to board meetings and serve on committees as needed, offering expertise to guide the organization’s initiatives and programs.
• Assist in developing and implementing Minds Matter Seattle’s strategic plan and work towards achieving our long-term goals.

Desired Qualifications:

• Passion for educational equity and a commitment to the mission and values of Minds Matter Seattle.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: Youth Development, Community Engagement and Impact, Educational Equity, Fundraising, Corporate Giving, and Volunteer Recruitment and Retention.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other board members and organizational leaders.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively advocate for Minds Matter Seattle’s mission.
• Previous board experience is a plus but not required.
