At Bristol Hospice, we provide compassionate care for people at the end of life, and our volunteers are a vital part of that. As a volunteer, you can be a friendly face, a good listener, and a comforting presence for someone in hospice care.
There are so many ways to help. You might read with a patient, watch a show together, go for a walk, play music, or even help care for a pet. Whether it's something small or more involved, your time truly makes a difference. Just showing up and being there matters.
We offer flexible volunteer opportunities and deeply value the time and heart you bring. When you join the Bristol Volunteer Team, you'll receive training, ongoing support, and a welcoming community of fellow volunteers and staff. Most importantly, you'll know that you’ve brought comfort and connection to someone during one of life’s most meaningful moments.
We’d love to have you join us.
"You cannot do a kindness too soon, for you never know how soon it will be too late."— Ralph Waldo Emerson
