Descrição
We are seeking a compassionate volunteer around SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY to provide friendly companionship for a hospice patient while her daughter runs errands. Your presence offers comfort to the patient and peace of mind to the family.
What’s involved:
- Sit quietly with the patient, offer conversation, read aloud, or simply be a reassuring presence.
- Visits are 1–2 hours every other week in the patient’s home.
No medical care is required. Training and ongoing support are provided. A background check and hospice volunteer orientation are required before your first visit.
