2026 July 4th Celebration and Fireworks

Help bring the Forest Grove July 4th Celebration to life! This community event will take place on Saturday, July 4, 2026 at Tom McCall Upper Elementary School, with gates opening at 4:00 PM and fireworks beginning around 10:00 PM. Volunteers play an important role in helping create a safe, welcoming, and fun experience for the community.

Volunteer roles may include:

• Sanitation Team – Help monitor trash stations and keep the event area clean.
• Entrance & Exit Team – Welcome guests and help direct attendees entering or leaving the event.
• Information Booth – Answer questions and provide event information.
• Vendor Assistants – Help vendors locate their spaces and provide basic support during the event.
• Stage Attendants – Assist the stage manager with performers and announcements.
• VIP Area Attendants – Help maintain the VIP seating area and assist guests.
• Day-After Cleanup Team – Help with light cleanup on July 5.

Most volunteer shifts are 3–4 hours, and volunteers will receive a brief orientation at the start of their shift.

Volunteers will be able to stay and enjoy the fireworks show at the end of the event.
