Pacific Community Ventures (PCV) is looking for experienced professionals who want to volunteer their time and support a small business owner in a focused, one-on-one advising relationship. If you have several years of professional experience and feel confident helping someone think through decisions and next steps, this role is a strong fit. You will be matched with an entrepreneur whose needs align with your background and meet virtually on a schedule that works for both of you. This role is for professionals who want to use their experience to support a small business owner through focused, one-on-one advising.
- Volunteer commitment averages three to five hours per month.
- All meetings are virtual and scheduled directly between you and the business owner.
- PCV handles matching, onboarding materials, and ongoing program support.
- Each advising engagement typically lasts a few months, with the option to continue or be re-matched.
- Your time is spent meeting with the entrepreneur, preparing for conversations, and following up on agreed-upon next steps.
