Volunteering is a wonderful and rewarding way to help Feral Fixers fulfill its mission of Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) for feral cats and to assist in finding homes for the adoptable cats and kittens we come across during our trapping efforts. We are an all-volunteer organization and depend on our Volunteers to perform all the tasks necessary to fulfill our goals.
Through our TNR activities, Feral Fixers rescues potentially adoptable cats and kittens. We need experienced volunteers to care for these cats and kittens while they are temporarily at our building awaiting transition to a foster home!
Cats and kittens recently living outside often can be shy, hissy, and scared of humans which requires special handling and socialization. Due to this, an ideal volunteer would have prior cat experience as a pet parent, from fostering, or from working in a shelter or veterinary setting.
This is a rewarding opportunity to help a cat or kitten on its journey from rescue to adoption!
Volunteers must be 18+, commit to a recurring weekly shift, and attend training.
Morning availability is particularly needed.
