It is time again to for IN PERSON VISITS, AND OUR PATIENTS NEED YOU !!
Are you ready to get out into the community?
Join us and visits patients on hospice services in their homes and /or at the local healthcare facilities!
Volunteer opportunities are available at Gentiva to provide friendly visits to people are living at local healthcare facilities, who are in need of a friendly face to help improve their quality of life.
VOLUNTEERS CAN:
- Play music for patients
- Make art, legacy projects, craft, etc. for people and their loved ones
- Watch a favorite TV show
- Listen and talk
- Provide supportive presence
- Join our Veterans program to support veterans on hospice services
- AND MUCH MORE !!
Volunteers will not be expected to provide clinical care such as feeding, transferring, bathing, toileting, etc
