JA Finance Park "Pop-Up"
Where high school students face the “real world” and build skills for life.
Please join Junior Achievement and our community of volunteers to help guide high school students through our immersive experiential learning program JA Finance Park, coming to multiple locations around Northern CA in March and April 2026.
What is Finance Park?
Students enter our experiential learning center with a unique “avatar,” or profile, complete with education level, career and monthly income. Using a tablet, students explore 19 interactive storefronts, research expenses, and make budgeting decisions based on their unique profile, with guidance from volunteer mentors.
Volunteer Role:
- Work with small groups (5-7) of high school students.
- Help them access and understand their unique adult profile as they plan their monthly budget.
- Coach them through real-world budgeting decisions.
- Share your knowledge and experience to help students understand real-world topics like loans, credit scores, insurance, retirement planning and more.
