HEARTLAND HOSPICE IS CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS TO VISIT WITH OUR PATIENTS
Do you have a kind heart and a little time to share? We're looking for compassionate volunteers to provide companionship and support to our hospice patients in our community.
As a hospice volunteer, you might;
- Visit with patients and provide friendly conversation
- Read books, play games, or listen to music together
- Sit quietly & offer comforting companionship
- Give family caregivers a chance to take a short break
- Help ensure no one feels alone during this stage of life
No medical experience is required. We provide comprehensive training and ongoing support, and volunteers choose a schedule that fits their availability.
