Volunteer to help hospice patients and their families when they need that help the most. No matter what your talents or interests, you can make a difference in someone's life. When you volunteer with Gentiva Hospice, you become part of a team of skilled, compassionate people who dedicate their time to a truly noble cause.

Volunteers give their time in two ways:

Patient Visit Volunteer- We provide care to our patients wherever they call home. Visiting our patients to provide companionship and support through conversation, leisure activities or by being a supportive presence. You may also provide respite for caregivers so they can have some time away for themselves. Are you a licensed massage therapist or hair stylist? Do you have a licensed therapy animal? We would love to offer these services to our patients.

Administrative Volunteer- Providing office support though clerical duties such as data entry, filing and phone calling.
