Seeking Board Members

Seeking board members to fill roles of Treasurer and Vice President. Monthly meetings are virtual, 1 hour.

Directors are unpaid and would need to have about five hours available to help with the work.

The time commitment looks something like this:

1 hour for the monthly board meeting virtually on PST time zone.

2 hours for community outreach.

1 hour for fundraising-related duties

1 hour for board meeting/event planning

The nonprofit American Society of Community Benefits (www.AmericanSoc.org) is a 501c3 organization that provides assistance for housing, food, medical expenses and tuition throughout the year. Its goal is to also have a stable presence in the community and we need as many people as we can to help reach our goals.

The Board Member’s role is a leadership role that will partake in governance, compliance and fundraising to ensure that the organization has a positive impact on the community.

The Board Member will also be in charge of committees and projects to help fulfill the nonprofit’s goals.
