Are you searching for a way to spread a little love this year? This posting is for you! Heartland Hospice is looking for individuals who want to make the world a better place. And the thing is, it may be a lot easier to make that change than you think!

Our volunteers can change the lives of individuals by merely visiting with patients who maybe don't get many visitors to their home on a normal basis. Come in and talk to, play cards with, or even watch TV with a hospice patient or their family. Share your interests with a wide range of those in need. Small acts of kindness can go a long way towards encouraging those in their time of need.

You could help multiple people feel hope and joy in their day-to-day life simply by being in the moment with them and giving them the gift of your time.

Hours are flexible and determined by the volunteer's availability. If you have the ability to serve even a few hours a week, that can change somebody else's outlook on life, not to mention the positive effect it will have on you as well.
