Orientation and training will be provided. Ongoing volunteers will be asked to complete a Background Check. All volunteers are screened against the National Sex Offender Registry
Descrição
The Salvation Army needs volunteers for Ingleside Heights Food Pantry. Volunteers will assist with set-up, unloading food from Food Bank truck, filling food bags for distribution and clean-up.
What to expect:
- Volunteers will arrive at 8:30am to set up and unload food from truck.
- The Food Bank truck delivers food between 8am and 9am
- Volunteers will assist with unloading food from pallets, sort the food and then fill bags ready for distribution.
- Distribution commences at approximately 9am and will continue until every person has received a bag of food.
- Following distribution, volunteers will assist with clean-up, and breaking down and storing tables.
- Masks required.
- Street parking only.
