About the Role

The Sponsorships/Grants Lead identifies, secures, and manages external funding from foundations, corporations, government agencies, and sponsorship partners. This role ensures the organization has the financial support needed to deliver programs by conducting funding research, cultivating funder relationships, preparing proposals, managing reporting requirements, and stewarding sponsors.

• Clean, organized documentation of grant cycles, reporting schedules, and funding history.

• Clear internal communication and coordination during proposal development.

Responsibilities

• Identify and research funding opportunities.
• Develop and execute grant and sponsorship strategies.
• Write, edit, and submit compelling grant proposals and letters of inquiry.
• Coordinate with internal teams to collect data, budgets, and required materials.
• Manage full grant lifecycle—from application to award to reporting.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with sponsors and funders.
• Track deadlines, reporting requirements, and renewal cycles.
• Ensure compliance with funding guidelines.
• Prepare grant and sponsorship impact reports.
• Maintain organized documentation, calendars, and funder databases.
