Volunteer Role Overview

The Volunteer Administrative & Creative Media Coordinator supports WOCOTM through administrative assistance and creative media support. This role is designed for a volunteer who enjoys organization and creative expression and wants to contribute skills to a mission‑driven nonprofit.

This position is supportive and educational in nature and does not replace or duplicate the work of paid staff.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support (Volunteer Assistance)

• Assist with basic administrative tasks such as organizing documents and digital files
• Support scheduling and coordination for meetings or events
• Help prepare presentations using PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Canva

Design & Creative Support

• Create simple graphics for presentations, social media, and outreach materials
• Edit images using tools such as Canva or similar platforms
• Follow WOCOTM branding and messaging guidelines

Video & Social Media Support

• Assist with creating and editing short‑form videos for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels
• Add captions, text overlays, transitions, and basic effects
• Support content ideas for social media campaigns and storytelling

Qualifications

• Interest in nonprofit work, community engagement, and creative media
• Basic experience with design or presentation tools (Canva, PowerPoint, Google Slides)
• Familiarity with video editing tools (CapCut, iMovie, Adobe Express, etc.)
• Comfortable using or learning YouTube and TikTok
• Organized, reliable, and able to commit agreed‑upon volunteer hours
• Know how to used Lumen 5, Open A1, Google Lumiere or Video Generation
• Know how to used image editors programs
• Know how to used Video generation program from AI
