About the Participant
The participant would benefit from regular social connection and companionship. She has a strong Christian faith, enjoys life review and meaningful conversation, and is very close with her family, including her children and grandchildren.
Role of the Volunteer
- Provide one‑to‑one companionship in a residential setting
- Engage in conversation, life review, and faith‑affirming or reflective discussions if welcome
- Offer consistent, friendly presence to help reduce isolation
Additional Notes
- No significant care needs or behavioral concerns identified
- Visits will be coordinated with the adult family home provider
This is a meaningful opportunity for a volunteer who enjoys listening, conversation, and building genuine connections with older adults.
