Teaching Assistant

Commitment: Part Time, In person, 3 months (Volunteer basis, unpaid)

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our homeschooling-hybrid learning program. This role supports the lead educators in facilitating lessons, guiding learners, and maintaining a positive, engaging classroom environment.

The Teaching Assistant will work closely with learners aged 9–14, helping to bridge academic and emotional support during both core subjects and creative life-skills sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist lead educators during academic and creative learning sessions.
• Provide one-on-one or small-group support to learners
• Help prepare and organize learning materials and classroom activities.
• Support life-skills and reflection sessions.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe, caring, and inclusive learning space.
• Participate in team reflections and planning meetings.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Education
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine interest in learner growth.
• Ability to work collaboratively and supportively within a team.
• Available remotely for lessons with learners.

Duration & Support

This is a 3-month unpaid remote volunteer role designed to offer hands-on experience and access to professional development opportunities.
