Organization: Nutrition Clarity Foundation
Position Overview
The Nutrition Clarity Foundation is seeking a detail-oriented Grant Research Volunteer to help identify funding opportunities that support our mission of improving food literacy and helping individuals and families make informed everyday nutrition decisions.
This volunteer will play an important role in expanding our funding pipeline by researching grants, organizing opportunities, and helping prepare information needed for future grant applications.
Responsibilities
- Research grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies
- Identify funding opportunities that align with our mission and programs
- Maintain a grant calendar with deadlines and requirements
- Organize eligibility guidelines and application materials
- Summarize grant opportunities for leadership review
- Assist with gathering supporting documents for applications
- Help track submitted applications and funding outcomes
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong online research skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently
- Interest in nonprofit work, public health, education, or community impact
- Experience with grants is helpful but not required
